So many tiny Linux boxes!


The above photo was taken by James Kendrick of JKOnTheRun in his new article about the HP MiniNote. It is a pretty beefy box in such a tiny package - especially with what appears to be 2GB RAM stock.

Why is it posted here? They offer Linux preinstalled as an option! I asked James about it: "I played with the base level Linux version for an hour in HP's offices. It was really snappy and SuSE Linux was very Windows-like. It was a capable version."

Ooooh Aaaah.

Why am I not covering more MID news? I'm waiting for more than "product names" and "photos" to surface of those. It will come. I promise.
