I got it to boot and that is a big step. I didn't find any distributions or LiveCDs laying around yet so I had to take the developer toolbox and build my own image with my own package sets. I still don't have it quite right yet but I am confident that I will be able to show previews of the software in short order.
Keep in mind that this is all in development and the stuff I show between now and launch could change at any time.

Awesome! I've been trying to build a package for about a week, but no such luck. That was the sole reason I put Xubuntu on my Eee PC. ;)
Great work! I'm still ramping up on moblin and playing with the image builder on my laptop. I'm looking forward to hearing your progress and feedback.
I've been trying to build a mobile image for several days using moblins utility but I keep getting file permanently moved errors. Very frustrating. I can't wait till ubuntu releases a stable iso
