The photo above was my first experience in Brazil - Waiting at a cafe for my next flight at Sao Paulo. The Q1 Ultra was both indispensable and a source of entertainment to many developers while I was at Bossaconference. Most attendees have yet to hold, touch, fondle, and interact with real UMPCs yet - much less UMPCs that have a booting/working Ubuntu Mobile installation on a thumb drive. Both Vista and Ubuntu Mobile were explored by the developers.

I dare say the UMPC was more of an attraction than my own lecture ;) I'm OK with that, though. I loved contributing in any way that I could.
As far as Ubuntu Mobile is concerned: I am going to try to get in touch with people I met at Bossa first, but expect a huge article about it very soon.
I must eat my previous words about 2nd generation UMPCs. With the right tuning and at least 2GB RAM, it is certainly a contender for laptop replacement while traveling.

I'm glad to hear everything is going well at the conference. Do you have any plans on a video review of Ubuntu Mobile on the Q1?
