Two of my favorite pieces of entertainment merged when Family Guy did a Star Wars "remake" of sorts entitled Blue Harvest. With the DVD on sale for $10 with added clips and bonus features, I couldn't resist. When I got home and opened it, there were two discs inside. One was a normal DVD and the other said 'For use in a Mac or PC only - Will not work in a stand-alone DVD player.' Naturally I popped it directly into my Mac. The splash screen had a link that said "Double click to add to iTunes." I did. iTunes requested an activation key (provided in the DVD liner notes) and, within two minutes, the movie was on my Mac, Apple TV, and iPod touch.
Wow - That was convenient. I hope future DVDs include this feature as well - at least until the global adoption of media-on-demand.
