This one was a little unscripted as it came from the mental combination of a good number of conversations at CES. It answers the "Why?" question on MIDs and Internet Tablets. Why do you want or need one? Watch!

I enjoyed watching this video. I'm considering a n810.
The case for or against a secondary internet device will be won when someone can make the argument as simple as this... I take pictures with the 2 MP camera in my cell phone. It works for quick snapshots. But if I know I'm going to take pictures I want to keep and share, I take my 8 MP, 6x optical zoom camera with me. I use my cell phone for quick Internet access (Google maps, email, etc.). But...
I completely understand why people like mid-devices. They're cool, interesting tech toys. But until they are capable of being our primary device, they really aren't filling a compelling hole in our lives. I would submit that you really didn't make any compelling case here for them, but that's not your fault, the market hasn't accomplished that yet either. Still interesting, and it's a niche area of computing that will drive innovation in the years ahead.
And they're still fun ;)
