This Saturday (July 28th) will be the one-year anniversary of UltraMobileGeek - which I appear to be celebrating with the worst Photoshop job ever.
It's been a long road, but the UMPC blogging community is strong and, through the input of many great minds (see the "friendly sites" link on the right sidebar) this platform has been embraced enough to warrant a full second generation of devices.
From the first UMPCS - plain 7" slates, 800x480 displays, and a few buttons on the bezel - they've evolved to include several different kinds of keyboards, a choice of CPU capacity, and a variety of price levels. In time, there will be a UMPC to fit everyone's lifestyle.
One year down - many more to go.
