In the quest for the best way to carry the UMPC, I may have found my preferred solution.
What's this? Well, it looks like it'll carry my phone, iPod, camera, headphones, and a few other things all at once...

It's the Urban Tool slotBar: It's a convertible shoulder/hip gadget pouch with pockets for everything. What is most important to my readers here is that the main pocket is A5 sized. A5 is about 5.82 inches by 8.27 inches, so assuming it's at least an inch thick it should be perfect for UMPCs. My eo v7110 is 5.75 by 8.98 inches, so the long side may poke out a bit from the top. That's OK with me.

Sadly I do not have much more than press images on this so far, but I am in contact with Urban Tool over in Vienna and they're quite nice people. Although I got my Urban Tool Gadget Hip Holster from ThinkGeek to review, I will see if I can get the slotBar directly from Urban Tool. If not, I'll just buy it when it comes to the States. The ThinkGeek is the current US distributor of Urban Tool products, so I hope they hop on this one quickly or some other distributor picks it up.

Word is that it should be out later this summer. Take a look at my Gadget Hip Holster review to get an idea on what to expect when the slotBar is released. As soon as I have more news, I'll post!

I wonder if a Samsung Q1b with Organizer Pack would fit? I may need to order it, if its not too expensive.
This looks great. But I wonder if it would fit into the man purse category??
the slotBar will cost 39,90 euro and the size of the big pocket is 17,5 x 21,0 cm - so i gues a NP-Q1 should fit. the slotBar will be in store in september 07. best regards bernhard
It's coming out September 12. I've been in contact with Urban Tool too, to make sure that the supplier here in Toronto will have it when it comes out. I can't wait! This might be the ultimate man bag I've been looking for!
My product is a lot more practical, comfortable, allows faster access, and easy to use.
Check it out here: www.grabitpack.com
I bought the basic holster from these guys and it was defective. No customer support or feed back. Emailed their North american office as well as their European office with no reply. Called them too... I would never buy from them again...
