Actually, I should title this article "Do it yourself ugly as sin UMPC slip case." We can also title this post "Laugh at ThoughtFix Because He's A Big Nerd Day"Remember pseudo UMPC case I found? Well, it worked to carry the device, charger, and accessories but still required the ugly yellow bag to be used to protect the screen. Also the Velcro straps were too long for just the UMPC so I basically had to put the TabletKiosk eo into the ugly yellow bag, set it on the stand, and then velcro it in. I didn't like all that set-up and tear-down time, so I decided to make a foam slip case for my UMPC that'd both protect it well and bulk it up so it fit in that case much better.
I do not suggest people go out in public carrying this case. It's ugly. Really ugly. But it does a GREAT job bulking up and protecting my TabletKiosk eo so it fits better inside another case.
I am not going to bore you all with instructions on this one since I took this idea directly from a link I found on Lifehacker. The instructions are here.
You'll note I didn't put my copyright watermark on these photos. Because really - who'd admit to owning that in public? But really - consider doing something like this to get your UMPC to fit in a laptop case or backpack you already own.
