We do not have an updated driver at this time. This is the first incident that I’ve heard of regarding touch screen drivers being incompatible with any kind of antivirus/maintenance software. I’m going to forward this info on to one of our engineers for further analysis. I’ll also load OneCare next week to see what’s up.That's a good enough response from TabletKiosk (after all - these things are BRAND NEW) but I expected Microsoft to be a bit more courteous.
I called back and talked to a technical support rep, requesting that my Windows Live OneCare "start date" be pushed back until the issue is resolved. He told me he couldn't do that, but sent me ahead to Billing. I talked to a Billing rep, and she told me she can't do that either. She suggested I talk to Refunds and ask them to refund the cost of the CD then have me go re-purchase it when the technical issue is resolved.
What?
She transferred me to Refunds. At least, she tried to. I heard "Please hold while we transfer your call" about fifteen times, then got disconnected.
