Decent UMPC keyboard

Samsung wants a HUNDRED BUCKS for a UMPC keyboard? I think not!
I got this from Brando Workshop for US $22 plus $3 shipping. It arrived from Hong Kong in a week. It's very small and still much much easier to use than handwriting, on-screen keyboard, or dialkeys. It feels cramped, but I'm still going to take it with me everywhere.

Pictures below and purchase link.

Low cost and small. I like it. I guess I could use a usb keyboard and get a bluetooth mouse so I don't so many cables and dongles to use.

Hi,

I bought a similar keyboard yesterday (see my post about my initial reaction to it: http://jezlyn.wordpress.com/2006/08/21/another-ultra-mini-keyboard-alternative-for-the-samsung-q1/) and actually have a question for you.

Do the keys on your keyboard require a harder keypress in order to register that you pressed it? The keyboard that I have basically requires me to pound my fingers on it a lot harder than a normal keyboard. While it's difficult already to do regular touch-typing on it, the fact that I have to press on the keys much harder make it even more difficult to use.

If yours is the same way, at least I'll know that my keyboard isn't defective. Thanks in advance for any info.

I'd love to share my find for a great keyboard - the BYTECC MCK-90BH found at NewEgg for $21.99 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16823145004 ). It's small, but not soooo mini that you can't type on it, has extra shortcut buttons and the best - 2 extra usb ports which is good for travel and using my Q1. I haven't discovered it if it will fit in the Samsung keyboard case yet, but I think it may be just a little thick at 1.4".

Just want to provide some idea
Darfon, a Taiwan based company, has provided several portable keyboards to the market. From their website http://www.darfon.com.tw, you could find they are working on some HID profile bluetooth keyboard and UMPC keyboard. Except for the Thinkoutside Stowaway keyboard, we should have more choices after one month or 2 months . So I will keep wathcing it, and I hope I could get better keyboard for my Asus UMPC. The bundle one is too bad, type feeling is not good, the size is still too big and hard to type. I read from some news, the current Asus UMPC keyboard is derivated from an old Targus keyboard, really not good!
